Product Description
The 4B Ozone Aging Test Chamber is designed for accelerated ozone aging, ozone resistance and ozone cracking testing of rubber and elastomeric materials. The system generates a controlled concentration of ozone and circulates it uniformly within the test chamber while maintaining the selected test temperature.
The chamber can be supplied with static and dynamic specimen holders, allowing testing of unstretched samples as well as specimens maintained under a defined tensile strain or dynamic movement. These configurations are particularly useful for rubber components such as O-rings, gaskets, seals, hoses, belts, tyres, cable insulation, automotive components and other elastomeric products.
The digital control system provides convenient setting and monitoring of ozone concentration, temperature and test duration. Depending on the selected configuration, ozone concentration can be continuously monitored and controlled through an ozone sensing/analysis system.
