The 4B Ozone Aging Test Chamber – HMI Model is a sophisticated environmental testing machine designed to simulate accelerated ozone exposure and evaluate the ozone resistance, ozone aging and ozone cracking behaviour of rubber and elastomeric materials.
The chamber generates a controlled ozone environment and continuously monitors the ozone concentration inside the test chamber. The PLC-based HMI touch screen control system allows the operator to set and monitor important test parameters such as ozone concentration, temperature, exposure time and test cycle.
The equipment can be supplied with static and dynamic specimen fixtures. Static testing is suitable for specimens held at a specified strain, while dynamic testing can be used for specimens subjected to repeated movement or deformation. Such configurations are widely used for rubber products including O-rings, gaskets, seals, hoses, belts, cable insulation, automotive rubber components and tyre-related materials.
The HMI system provides a clear graphical interface for parameter setting, real-time monitoring, alarm indication, test-cycle control and data logging. Data logging can be configured for ozone concentration, temperature, test duration and other selected parameters.
