The instrument shown is the LS173 D/8° Colorimeter with an 8 mm measuring aperture, full-spectrum LED illumination and a touchscreen interface.
It is suitable for plastic, masterbatch, paint, coating, metal, rubber, packaging, printing, textiles, leather, ceramics, stone and other industries where accurate color inspection and batch-to-batch color consistency are important.

Color Measurement & Color Difference
The colorimeter can measure and compare standard and sample colours and display L*, a*, b* values along with colour-difference results. The software/device supports multiple colour spaces and ΔE formulas, allowing the user to select the method appropriate for the application.
The instrument can also display spectral reflectance curves, providing additional information about the sample’s colour characteristics.
